Richard is a comedy writer whose jokes have helped many of Britain’s most recognisable celebrities appear wittier and, more importantly, utterly spontaneous.
His script credits include Radio 4’s The Now Show, The News Quiz and BBC2’s Dara O’Briain’s Science Club. He co-wrote the screenplay for the film The Unbeatables, starring Rupert Grint, Rob Brydon, Peter Serafinowicz, Alistair McGowan and Ralf Little.
Richard’s books include The Man with his Head in the Clouds, about Britain’s first man to fly, balloonist James Sadler, and he has also written best-selling titles Britain’s Most Eccentric Sports, Oxford Student Pranks and As Thick as Thieves.
His next book is out on 18th November: Oxford Examined: Town & Clown, a collection of his best Oxford Examined columns from the award-winning Oxford Times magazine Oxfordshire Limited Edition – plus several previously unpublished stories.
