Podcast: who was the real Lewis Carroll?

On a warm, breezy Friday evening in Oxford, Rebecca went along to see a new musical exploring the life of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson – AKA Lewis Carroll, writer of the timeless Alice tales. She came away with a head full of smiles, songs and scandal, so join her to find out more and hear from director David Kettle, actor Stewart Briggs (Dodgson) and writer Jane Bramwell about the production.

Tickets for CLD: the Real Lewis Carroll (£17.50/£15.50) are available from www.ticketsoxford.com and the show runs until Saturday 6th August at St Columba’s United Reform Church, Alfred Street, Oxford.

We enjoyed listening to your podcast while we had our breakfast. It worked well, the recording was very clear and the background noise added to the immediacy of the experience.
I, yr m, was rather surprised by the abrupt ending. Is that the usual style for a podcast? I would have liked to hear a bit more music or maybe even a basic fade.
Looking forward to hearing the Edinburgh episodes. 🙂 xxxx
